Big White Ski Resort Locks Next Winter’s Pass at Current Pricing

Big White Ski Resort, located in British Columbia’s Kelowna, has introduced its Season Pass Price Freeze for the upcoming winter season. This initiative allows enthusiasts to secure their passes at current rates, ensuring affordability for avid skiers and snowboarders.
Key Details of the Season Pass Price Freeze
The Price Freeze commenced today and will last until midnight on April 30. Here’s a breakdown of the pricing:
- Adult Pass: $1,059 CAD
- Youth Pass (ages 13-18): $564 CAD
- Children’s Pass (ages 6-12): $414 CAD
- Club 65 Senior Pass: $749 CAD
- Children under 5: $39 CAD
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and may be subject to taxes. This price freeze allows holders to enjoy unlimited access to the mountain for the full 2026-27 season.
New Features and Benefits
In an exciting addition for the next season, all passholders will receive two group lesson vouchers at a 40% discount. However, some blackout dates will apply, specifically from December 23-31, 2026, and February 13-15, 2027. Moreover, Club 65 members will enjoy two repair and tuning vouchers at a 50% discount.
Big White’s Commitment to Its Community
Peter Plimmer, the CEO of Big White, emphasized the critical role season passholders play in the resort’s identity, stating that they are foundational to the resort’s vibrance.
Current Season Insights
As of today, the resort boasts a snow base of 77 inches (195 cm) with 100% of its runs open and 16 lifts functional. The current season will conclude on April 6.
Celebrating Seasonal Snowfall
This past weekend, Big White surpassed a snowfall total of 200 centimeters (79 inches) and celebrated the achievement by distributing 2,000 free doughnuts. The resort mascot, Loose Moose, entertained visitors as he handed out treats at various locations.
Additionally, the Spring Break schedule, running until March 22, includes numerous events like the Neil Edgeworth Banked Slalom scheduled for March 21-22 and a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17. The week also features live music at the Moose Lounge, late-night trivia, and fireworks on Saturdays.
Refundable Pass Option
For those seeking added security, a Refundable Pass Option is available for an extra $30. This provides the possibility of a partial or full refund for passholders unable to use the pass after the resort opens. Without this option, passes are non-refundable post-opening.
