TCU Football Strengthens Roster with Two New Commitments
TCU football has made significant strides in strengthening its roster with new commitments. On Sunday, the Horned Frogs secured two promising recruits, enhancing their 2024 recruiting class.
New Additions to TCU Football
- Dylan Jaeger, Tight End
- Colton Steed, Offensive Tackle
Dylan Jaeger
Dylan Jaeger, a tight end hailing from Round Rock, Texas, is the first new commitment. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 210 pounds, Jaeger received an offer from TCU on June 3, which he eagerly accepted. Although currently unranked, he attracted attention from several Ivy League institutions, including Princeton, Brown, and Dartmouth.
In his junior season, Jaeger showcased impressive stats, recording 66 receptions, 995 yards, and nine touchdowns. His performance solidified his reputation as one of Texas’s most productive tight ends.
Colton Steed
In addition to Jaeger, teammate Colton Steed also made a commitment to TCU. Steed, who plays offensive tackle, stands an impressive 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 260 pounds. Like Jaeger, he attracted offers from other schools, notably North Texas and UTSA.
Current Status of TCU’s Recruiting Class
With these two commitments, TCU’s recruiting class now boasts a total of 11 prospects. The current class holds the 71st national ranking, reflecting the Horned Frogs’ commitment to building a competitive team for the upcoming seasons.
