The Valencia Fourth Section Court has handed down a sentence of eight years and six months to former Valencia CF footballer Rafa Mir. This ruling is due to his conviction for sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman in 2024 at his luxury home in Bétera, Valencia, as confirmed by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.

During the trial held on May 28, the 21-year-old victim described her harrowing experience, stating that Mir sexually assaulted her in the pool and later in the bathroom. She reported being forcibly restrained and touched inappropriately.
