Incident Details
On June 9, 2026, around 8:00 p.m., the School Resource Officer at Polytech High School received information regarding a concerning video. The video depicted a man brandishing a gun at students on their school bus.
Chain of Events
- A student on the bus sprayed water at McCombs, who was riding a Can-Am Spyder motorcycle.
- After being splashed, McCombs yelled at the students.
- He then drew a firearm and pointed it at the bus as it left the scene.
Investigation and Arrest
Following the incident, police conducted an investigation. Detectives identified McCombs as the suspect through various means. A warrant for his arrest was subsequently issued.
On June 11, 2026, authorities arrested McCombs without any struggle. He was taken to Troop 3 to face charges.

McCombs faces several serious charges:

- Aggravated Menacing (6 counts, Felony)
He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2. Following this, he was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution with a secured bond set at $48,000.
