Today’s Weather: Rain in Many Areas, Colder Than Usual

Anticipated rainfall amounts for April 3rd to 4th vary by region:

  • Gangwon Province: 5 to 30 mm
  • Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi: 5 to 20 mm
  • Western sea islets, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, North Jeolla: 5 to 10 mm
  • Gwangju, South Jeolla, southern inland Gyeongsangbuk-do, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and Jeju Island: less than 5 mm

The temperature is projected to hover close to the seasonal averages. The minimum temperatures in the morning will range from 7 to 11 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to be between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius. This reflects a slight dip compared to the typical range of 8 to 13 degrees for lows and 20 to 25 degrees for highs.

Air Quality and Sea Conditions

Air quality is expected to be at a ‘good’ level across all regions. Additionally, sea conditions are forecasted as follows:

  • Eastern and Southern seas: Waves of 0.5 to 3.5 m
  • Western sea: Waves of 0.5 to 3.0 m
  • Inner seas (within 200 km of the coast):
    • East Sea: 1.0 to 4.0 m
    • West Sea: 1.0 to 3.5 m
    • South Sea: 1.0 to 3.5 m
  • Outer seas:
    • East Sea: 1.0 to 4.0 m
    • West Sea: 0.5 to 3.5 m
    • South Sea: 1.0 to 3.0 m
