A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck the Outaouais region on Tuesday around noon. The epicenter was located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Shawville. Reports indicate that Canadian Seismology received around 750 responses regarding the tremor from residents in Outaouais and nearby Ottawa and Gatineau.
