A Celebration of Student Excellence
The Prime Stage Drama Awards recognize outstanding achievement in non-musical plays involving student actors, directors, and crews. The awards ceremony is scheduled for January 10 at the Hillman Center for the Performing Arts, located on the Shady Side Academy campus in Fox Chapel. The event will showcase scenes from various nominated productions.
According to John Dolphin, Director of the Prime Stage Drama Awards, students must occupy significant roles, whether on stage or off, in order to be eligible. Dolphin encourages adult mentorship but emphasizes that these productions are ultimately student-driven.
