Michel Therrien and Marc Bergevin will collaborate during the upcoming Spengler Cup, as announced by Hockey Canada. The former Montreal Canadiens general manager selected Therrien, who coached the team from 2012 to 2017, to lead the Canadian national team. The tournament will take place in Davos, Switzerland, from December 26 to 31.

Therrien brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously coached the Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He led the Penguins to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2008. After serving as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Flyers from 2019 to 2021, he now focuses on this opportunity.
Upcoming Matches
The Canadian team will compete in a preliminary group alongside the host team HC Davos and the American university selection. Their opening match is scheduled for December 26. The preliminary round concludes on December 28, with the championship game slated for December 31.
