Kidd O’Shea’s Homecoming Journey

The tour of his hometown commenced at Winkie’s in Whitefish Bay, a family business where he worked from the young age of six. His parents, still running the store, shared fond memories of his early customer service skills.

Memorable Experiences

During their time together, O’Shea and his father recorded a fake newscast at a museum, igniting his passion for broadcasting. “I’d lie in bed at night and just pray that we could do it again,” he recalled. Before his move to Washington, O’Shea had co-hosted a popular morning show on WMYX-FM, which received accolades from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.
