TLDSB Appoints New Member to Senior Leadership Team

The Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) has appointed Kim Horrigan as its new executive officer overseeing Facility Services, Transportation Services, and Capital Innovation. This new position was established following a restructuring of the superintendent of Business Services role.
Background of Kim Horrigan
With over 20 years in public administration, Horrigan brings significant experience to TLDSB. She has spent the last decade in school board leadership, where she managed large department budgets and oversaw facility services and capital projects.
Before her appointment, Horrigan served as the senior manager and controller of the Facility Services Department at Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. Her expertise in this area will be vital to her new responsibilities.
Responsibilities in Her New Role
- Leadership of Facility Services and Transportation Services departments
- Business continuity and crisis management
- Capital planning and projects
- Risk management for the Board
Since beginning her role in September, Horrigan has felt welcomed by the TLDSB community. “I am committed to bringing community connections and local knowledge to this role,” she stated. “I look forward to continuing the positive work of the organization that supports students and their families.”
