Brown emphasized the joy behind their music-making process. She indicated that the project started without any initial intention of creating an album. “We were simply enjoying ourselves writing songs. Eventually, we realized we had enough material to compile into a cohesive collection,” she stated.

While producing the album, Martin was simultaneously filming his hit series, Only Murders in the Building. The fifth season premiered on September 9, and Hulu confirmed that the show will film its sixth season in London.
