Land Speed Record Holder Respects TT Riders’ Skill and Courage

Isle of Man’s racing community witnessed a significant event showcasing women’s skills and determination in motorcycling. Lisa Brain, the Isle of Man ambassador, spearheaded the initiative aimed at promoting inclusivity in motorsport.
Women’s Legacy Lap Introduction
Initially conceived as a small gathering of local female riders, the event evolved dramatically. Brain proposed leading the Legacy Lap, giving women a prominent role for the first time in its history.
Creating a Community
Lisa Brain expressed her honor in facilitating this gathering. She aimed to create a lasting memory that could become part of the Isle of Man TT’s legacy.
Brain highlighted the existence of a larger community of women riders than many realize. She believes that increased visibility could inspire more women to participate in motorcycling.

- Meeting Point: Participants will gather in the pit lane at the TT grandstand, Glencrutchery Road, Douglas.
- Arrival Time: Assembly at 08:30 BST.
- Departure Time: The convoy will leave at 09:30 BST.
- Race Schedule: The RST Superbike TT race follows the lap at 13:30 BST.
