Old Age Security (OAS)

Canadians aged 65 and older qualify for OAS payments, irrespective of their work history. Eligibility depends on residency and legal status criteria. Payments are scheduled as follows:

  • For those aged 65 to 74: up to $743.05 per month, if their annual net income is below $148,451.
  • For Canadians aged 75 and older: a maximum of $817.36 per month, if their annual net world income is under $154,196.

Veteran Disability Pension

Eligible participants for the Veteran Disability Pension include:

  • Members or veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces.
  • Current or former members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
  • Veterans of the Second World War or Korean War, including Merchant Navy members.
