Madonna Secures First No. 1 Radio Hit in 18 Years with ‘I Feel So Free’

Madonna has achieved a significant milestone with her latest single, “I Feel So Free,” which has claimed the top spot on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. This marks her eighth No. 1 on the ranking and her first radio chart-topper in nearly 18 years.
Details of the New Hit
“I Feel So Free” was released on April 18 under Warner Records. The song skyrocketed to No. 1 following a remarkable 50% increase in airplay during the tracking week of May 15-21, as reported by Luminate. The increase can be attributed to the support from 24/7 dance reporters and pop stations’ mix show hours, along with a new remix featuring Peggy Gou, launched on May 15.

Broad Radio Presence

Collaboration and Upcoming Album
In addition to “I Feel So Free,” Madonna’s recent collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, titled “Bring Your Love,” is currently rising in the charts. It moved from No. 22 to No. 20 on Adult Pop Airplay, marking her highest position at this format since 2008.
Both singles are set to feature on Madonna’s forthcoming album, “Confessions II,” which is expected to be released on July 3. The album is highly anticipated, as its predecessor, “Confessions on a Dance Floor,” achieved significant success in the past.
All charts are scheduled to be updated on Billboard.com on May 27, following a delay due to Memorial Day.
