Japanese driver Takamoto Katsuta remained competitive, finishing within 5.2 seconds of the lead, despite some hesitation in the tougher sections. Meanwhile, Adrien Fourmaux from Hyundai made headlines by winning two stages, pulling within 9.2 seconds of Katsuta.
