Sherry Lane, a resident of Ambridge, expressed support for the rescheduling. She noted the impracticality of handing out candy in the rain, stating, “No one wants to sit outside giving out candy all soaking wet.”
However, not all residents are pleased with the change. Steve Waite, who lives in Rochester with his family, shared his disappointment. He emphasized that his wife had arranged to take time off work for the original Halloween schedule. “It’s a hurt,” Waite mentioned, regarding the impact on their daughters.
