Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama recently made a surprising announcement regarding the country’s AI-generated minister, Diella. He claimed that Diella is “pregnant,” with plans to create “83 children,” which are essentially digital assistants for each member of the Socialist Party in parliament.
Creating AI Assistants for Parliament
During the Global Dialogue (BGD) held in Berlin, Rama elaborated on the purpose of these AI assistants. He stated that they would record parliamentary discussions and keep legislators informed about any events or discussions they may have missed.

Diella was first introduced as a virtual assistant in January on the e-Albania platform, designed to assist citizens and businesses in obtaining necessary state documents.
