First-Look Images Released for Harlan Coben’s Netflix Thriller

Netflix has unveiled the first-look images for its upcoming thriller series, “Run Away,” based on a novel by celebrated author Harlan Coben. The series features a distinguished cast, including James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver, and Alfred Enoch. Set to premiere on January 1, 2026, the show is filmed in and around Manchester, UK.
About “Run Away”
“Run Away” follows Simon, portrayed by Nesbitt, whose seemingly perfect life shatters when his eldest daughter, Paige, goes missing. Simon’s desperate search leads him to a harrowing encounter in a park, where he discovers Paige in a vulnerable state, struggling with drug addiction. A confrontation escalates, resulting in shocking violence. This traumatic event sets Simon on a perilous journey through a dangerous underworld to find his daughter.
Production Details
The series is produced by ITV Studios-owned Quay Street Productions, with Harlan Coben serving as executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions. The lead writer and executive producer is Danny Brocklehurst, known for his work on “Fool Me Once” and “Brassic.” Other executive producers include Quay Street’s Nicola Shindler and Richard Fee, alongside episodic writers Tom Farrelly, Amanda Duke, and Charlotte Coben. The series producer is Guy Hescott, with Will McDonagh as producer and Charlotte Coben as associate producer. Directors Nimer Rashed and Isher Shaota lead the production, while Orla Maxwell handled casting.
