Josiah Didier first made headlines in 2013 when he debuted for the Montreal Canadiens at just 20 years old. At that time, he was concluding his third year at the University of Denver, where he played for the Pioneers. A fourth-round pick, he was selected 97th overall in the 2011 NHL Draft.
His professional journey began when he played for the Canadiens’ affiliate teams. Didier suited up for the Hamilton Bulldogs during the late 2014-2015 season, followed by the St. John’s IceCaps for two subsequent seasons. Throughout this period, he accumulated 537 games in the AHL, aiming to make a significant impact.
A Return to Laval
After spending time with various AHL teams, including the Charlotte Checkers and the Providence Bruins, Didier has returned to the Laval Rocket.
