Canada Unveils CANMNT Roster for 2026 FIFA World Cup™

Canada Soccer has revealed its 26-player roster for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, set to occur from June 11 to July 19 across Canada, Mexico, and the USA. This announcement was made by the Men’s National Team head coach Jesse Marsch during a live broadcast on TSN, CTV, Crave, and RDS, supported by Gatorade. The player names were publicly unveiled on the EdgeWalk at the CN Tower, a prominent Toronto landmark.

“It is an honor to name our squad for a World Cup on home soil. These players embody the diverse communities and cultures that define our country,” said Jesse Marsch. He expressed excitement about uniting Canadians for the event.

Pre-Tournament Matches

The national team will participate in two pre-tournament matches. The first is scheduled against Uzbekistan on June 1 at Alberta Field, Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. The second match will be against the Republic of Ireland on June 5 at Stade Saputo in Montréal. Both games will be presented by BMO and broadcast live on TSN, RDS, and OneSoccer. Canada’s Group Stage Opponents

Canada is placed in Group B, along with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, and Switzerland. The team’s match schedule is as follows:
