Oilers Secure Aku Raty with One-Year, Two-Way Contract

The Edmonton Oilers have secured a one-year, two-way contract with forward Aku Raty, as announced on Monday. This agreement will see Raty earning an average annual value of $850,000 in the NHL.
Aku Raty: A Brief Overview
Aku Raty, 24, has recently completed a productive season in the Finnish league, Liiga, where he played for Karpat. During the 2025-26 season, he led his team with 57 points and ranked second with 20 goals in just 51 games.
NHL Experience
- Selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NHL Draft by the Arizona Coyotes.
- Made his NHL debut on April 17, 2024, against the Edmonton Oilers.
