Filming for the ten-episode Season 4 has already started in Toronto. The premiere is set for this fall on Citytv. The production company, Cameron Pictures, expressed appreciation for Young’s contributions to the character and the series.

Introducing Det. Sgt. John Darcy

Luke Kirby will step into the role of Detective Sergeant John Darcy. This character is transitioning from the guns and gangs division to homicide.

Kirby’s Background

Kirby, a Hamilton native, is recognized for his past performance in “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” for which he received an Emmy award. His previous work includes roles in “Dr. Death,” the film “Take This Waltz,” and the acclaimed series “Rectify,” where he appeared alongside Young.
