Many Tickets Still Available for Canada Grand Prix in Montreal

As the first free practice session of the Canadian Grand Prix approaches, ticket availability remains strong at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Numerous packages, including general admission and premium options, are still up for grabs, offering fans a chance to experience the event.

Although some ticket categories are sold out, many are still accessible. The promoter confirms that premium hospitality packages in various grandstands, as well as individual tickets, remain for purchase.

Pricing Details

  • General Admission tickets range from $95 to $260 per day.
  • Hospitality packages cost between $1,875 and $5,600 for three days.
  • Terrace packages are priced between $440 and $915, varying by location.

The “CGV Experience” offers a unique combination of general admission and evening concert access. Concert performers include notable artists such as Bryan Adams and Alessia Cara, with tickets priced from $250 to $350.

Upgraded Facilities

In response to increased demand, the promoter has enhanced the venue with multiple new structures. They have created a two-story hospitality area near the start and finish line, increasing capacity to accommodate more visitors.

Future Plans and Expectations

Jean-Philippe Paradis, the GP of Canada president, highlighted the importance of modernizing facilities to keep pace with growing interest, particularly from major cities like Toronto and New York. This year, improvements aimed at enhancing the spectator experience will continue, including the implementation of a multi-year development plan.

Last year’s event set a record with over 352,000 attendees. While the site has limitations, the promoter’s goal remains to approach 400,000 spectators for this year’s event.

Event Schedule

This weekend will not only feature Formula 1 racing but also the introduction of the first sprint race in Montreal. Additionally, fans can look forward to highlights from the Formula 2 and F1 Academy series for women.
