Virat Kohli has made history in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by achieving remarkable milestones this season. In a recent match against Punjab Kings at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Kohli crossed the 500-run mark for the season, reaching a total of 542 runs in IPL 2026.

Record-Breaking Performance

Kohli’s accomplishment marks his ninth season with 500 or more runs, the highest by any player in IPL history. He surpassed David Warner and KL Rahul, who have both achieved this feat seven times. Shikhar Dhawan follows with five seasons of 500-plus runs.
