RCMP Recovers Stolen Vehicle, Seizes Meth and Cocaine

On May 11, 2026, an incident involving the Meadow Lake RCMP led to the seizure of illicit drugs and a stolen vehicle. The event occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. during a traffic stop on Thunderchild First Nation.
RCMP Recovers Stolen Vehicle
The operation was conducted by the RCMP Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan (CTSS). Officers noticed an SUV that matched the description of a stolen vehicle, prompting them to initiate the traffic stop. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the SUV was indeed stolen.
Drug Seizures and Arrests
During the search of the vehicle, law enforcement uncovered significant quantities of illegal substances:
- 94 grams of methamphetamine
- 11 grams of cocaine
- Drug trafficking paraphernalia
- An imitation firearm
- Other weapons
As a result of the investigation, three individuals were arrested:
- Micayla Jimmy, 26 years old
- Ashton Martell, 35 years old
- Tariq Nicotine, 27 years old
Charges Filed Against Suspects
The detainees from Thunderchild First Nation faced multiple charges, including:
- Possession of an imitation firearm in the commission of an offence
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes (x3)
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
Additionally, Micayla Jimmy was charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Failure to comply with a court order (x2)
All three suspects appeared in Onion Lake Provincial Court on May 13, 2026, to address the charges against them.
