Franciacorta is launching a new series of itinerant festivals abroad aimed at promoting the identity and excellence of its wine region. These immersive experiences cater to industry professionals, media, and wine enthusiasts. Following a successful event in Vienna in late April, further gatherings are scheduled for spring and summer 2026.

Upcoming Events in Major Cities

The next stops in this international tour include:

  • Lugano: May 20, 2026
  • Miami: June 8, 2026
  • Monaco: June 29, 2026

Each event will take place in prestigious venues, showcasing the premium qualities of Franciacorta wines. The locations include:

  • Hotel Splendide Royal in Lugano
  • Soho Beach House in Miami
  • The Charles Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Monaco

Participation and Format

The Franciacorta festivals will feature a notable presence of wineries. After hosting 27 producers in Vienna, 41 wineries are expected in Lugano, 10 in Miami, and 22 in Monaco. The well-established format combines technical insights with direct engagement.

Guests can participate in masterclasses led by expert sommeliers, designed to deepen their knowledge of Franciacorta. Additionally, walk-around tastings will facilitate direct interaction with producers, fostering networking and professional exchanges in an engaging environment.

Evening Openings and Broadened Engagement

The events in Vienna and Lugano will also have evening openings available to the public, expanding outreach to wine aficionados and strengthening ties to the region.

Collaboration with Scuderia Classiche

Franciacorta will further enhance its international calendar through collaboration with Scuderia Classiche, focusing on prestigious auto-related events. This partnership will feature:

  • Lugano Elegance: May 21-23, integrating wine and automotive heritage.
  • 1000 Miglia Warm Up in Zurich: May 28-31, strengthening brand visibility in exclusive settings.

Exclusive Experiences in Miami

The Miami event will include an immersive experience at Delano Hotel for a select group of guests. This occasion is crafted for direct relations and storytelling, enhancing the representation of Franciacorta among international key opinion leaders and stakeholders.

Through this program, Franciacorta continues its global promotion, blending contemporary communication with a respect for wine culture and lifestyle. This approach reinforces the brand’s status as a hallmark of Italian excellence, appealing to an increasingly sophisticated international audience.
