In a post on X, Clancy revealed that Twitch is introducing a new enforcement type that will be rolled out in the upcoming weeks. Streamers who are identified as persistently using viewbots will face restrictions on their concurrent view count (CCV) across all Twitch channels.

This isn’t the first initiative by Twitch to tackle viewbotting. In 2021, the platform removed approximately 7.5 million suspected bot accounts.
