A wide array of memorabilia and artworks belonging to the beloved actor Matthew Perry are set to be auctioned off to support the charitable foundation established in his honor. The auction, organized by Heritage Auctions, will take place on June 5, aiming to raise funds for the Matthew Perry Foundation, which is dedicated to destigmatizing addiction and promoting recovery. Perry passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54.

The upcoming auction features an extensive collection of items that celebrate Perry’s career and advocacy work. Among the highlights are:
- 26 scripts from iconic episodes of Friends, including notable ones like “The One With Ross’s Tan” and the series finale.
- Collectible scripts signed by Perry and his co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.
- A 1995 Screen Actors Guild Award for his ensemble performance in a comedy series.
- Perry’s personal replica of the famous yellow peephole frame from his character’s apartment.
- A unique Friends photo album titled “The One With the Last Supper.”
- Artwork by renowned artists Banksy and Mel Bochner owned by Perry.

The auction site opened on May 18 and will showcase items until May 29 in Beverly Hills before the main event kicks off in Dallas. The event will also be available online, broadening its reach. All net proceeds will benefit various programs supported by the Matthew Perry Foundation, including:

- Grants for organizations assisting recovering addicts.

Perry rose to fame as Chandler Bing on NBC’s Friends from 1994 to 2004, solidifying his place as one of television’s biggest stars. His sudden death prompted an investigation, with the medical examiner identifying ketamine as a primary cause. In connection with his death, five individuals have pleaded guilty to various charges while others await sentencing.
