Woman Proposes on Hockey Jumbotron with ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Surprise

During a recent Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) event at the Coca-Cola Center in Toronto, unique proposals stole the spotlight. Nina Borgeson and her partner, Meg Beizer, creatively turned their Jumbotron moment into a memorable ‘Wheel of Fortune’ experience. This event took place during a game between the Toronto Sceptres and the New York Sirens.

As the game paused, the couple participated in a game reminiscent of ‘Wheel of Fortune’. Announcer prompts led Meg to guess letters on the board. After Meg chose the letters “W, O, U”, Nina was able to aptly solve the puzzle: ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME?’

In a heartfelt response, Meg got on one knee. The cheering crowd witnessed this intimate moment as Meg proposed. She slipped a ring onto Nina’s finger, followed by a joyous kiss as Nina raised her hand in celebration.
