The event took place near Marlee Avenue and Glengrove Avenue West on Thursday, just before 12:30 p.m. Emergency services arrived to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Toronto Police confirmed the arrest of a suspect shortly after the shooting. The individual, a man in his 60s, was apprehended in the vicinity. Duty Inspector Peter Wallace stated that the authorities believe the shooting to be an isolated event.
