Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Scottish businessman in Kenya. The suspects, whose names are Bernard Mbusu, Isaac Kinoti Kobia, Evans Muthengi Mutaki, and Kelvin Mwangi Njoroge, were taken into custody during a police operation.

The operation was conducted by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in collaboration with the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CR&IB) and local police units from Nyali and Msambweni.

- The arrests took place at Ideal Apartments in Ukunda.
- Authorities are investigating the suspects’ potential links to multiple violent robberies.
Forensic Evidence and Additional Crimes
Authorities reported that the suspects were also forensically connected to a violent robbery incident in Watamu, located in the Malindi Sub-County. This evidence adds to the gravity of the allegations against them.
Items Recovered
During the operation, police conducted a search at the suspects’ residence. The following items were seized:
- An HP laptop
- Multiple mobile phones
- Assorted foreign currencies
- Numerous credit cards
- Cheque books from various banks
- PDQ card reader machines
