Arsenal Fans Access Free Champions League Match in Channel Switch

Arsenal fans looking to catch the Champions League quarter-final against Sporting must navigate a new streaming service. The match will not be available on the usual TNT Sports or Sky Sports channels, unlike previous fixtures.

Streaming for the Upcoming Match

Amazon Prime has secured the exclusive rights to broadcast the first leg of the tie between Arsenal and Sporting. Fans can access the game through two options:

  • Sign up for a free 30-day trial, available only to new Amazon customers.
  • Choose a monthly subscription at £8.99.

The match will kick off at 6:30 PM, with Amazon providing commentary from a team of former footballers. Additionally, fans can enjoy a special match preview exclusively on Amazon Prime.

Future Matches and Broadcasting Changes

The second leg of the quarter-final will take place at The Emirates and will be available on TNT Sports. This channel has recently transitioned to its new platform, HBO Max. For those who already have an Amazon account, it’s possible to add a TNT Sports monthly pass to their subscription.

As part of its expanded coverage, Amazon will also show Liverpool’s second leg against PSG. Other notable fixtures include:

  • Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich
  • Liverpool’s first leg against PSG
  • Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid

In a significant partnership, Amazon has obtained broadcasting rights for one Champions League match per week as part of a four-year agreement starting in 2025. Over the next three years, a selected game from each round will be streamed on the platform.

However, from 2027, broadcasting in the UK will see a shift as Paramount will replace TNT as the primary provider for Champions League coverage.
