Scott Brown Departs Ayr United Amid Struggling Performance

Scott Brown has departed from his role as manager of Ayr United amid a challenging performance period for the team. His tenure, which began in January 2024, initially saw the club rise above potential relegation threats, culminating in a commendable third-place finish in his first full season.

Brown’s Coaching Journey

Throughout his career, Brown has represented his country 55 times and secured 22 major trophies during his successful stint with Celtic. After leaving Celtic in the summer of 2021, he began his coaching journey as a player-coach at Aberdeen. Later, he took the managerial position at Fleetwood Town.

During his time at Fleetwood, he finished 13th in his debut season. Unfortunately, following a poor start to the second season, he was relieved of his duties in September 2023.
