The hosts of El-Balad’s This Morning, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, celebrated a joyous occasion during their latest show. They congratulated co-star Jeff Brazier on becoming a grandad for the first time.

The on-air celebration took place on March 27, when Jeff shared the news about his younger son Freddy. Freddy and his girlfriend Holly Swinburn welcomed their newborn daughter, Isla Jade, earlier in the month. Dermot introduced the segment by joyfully declaring, “Baby grandad! Congratulations.”
In his first appearance since receiving the news, Jeff expressed his gratitude. He stated, “Thank you so much. Yeah, gorgeous that. I wanna thank Freddy and Holly for just absolutely giving me the greatest gift.” Jeff described becoming a grandad as revealing a “whole new level of love.”
Welcoming Isla Jade
Jeff also provided an update on Holly, noting her strength during childbirth. He praised Freddy for being attentive and shared the beauty of witnessing the couple’s experience together. Alison chimed in, expressing her love for the baby’s name, Isla Jade, which Jeff called “perfect.”
It’s reported that Isla’s middle name honors Freddy’s late mother, the beloved TV star Jade Goody. Interestingly, the announcement of Isla’s birth was made just two days before the anniversary of Jade’s passing.

Freddy and Holly confirmed the birth through a heartfelt black-and-white photo shared on Instagram, showcasing their smiles alongside little Isla. Another touching image featured Jeff, proudly posing with his sons, Freddy and Bobby.
Although Holly discovered she was pregnant in August 2025, the couple faced challenges, reportedly separating by November. Fortunately, they reconciled at her baby shower, rekindling their relationship. Freddy has been seen surprising Holly with romantic gestures, including unexpected gifts during outings.
