David Kampf has returned to the Capitals after the birth of his child and participated in skating on Thursday. However, he is considered questionable for the game. He has not played recently due to visa issues following his trade from the Vancouver Canucks.
Ethen Frank is expected to miss his second consecutive game but skated in a non-contact jersey recently. For the Mammoth, Barrett Hayton is week-to-week after an injury during a 5-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers. Daniil But was recalled from the American Hockey League and will take part in the second line. Additionally, Brandon Tanev is set to return after being a healthy scratch for the past four games.
With both teams aiming for a victory, the stage is set for an electrifying game at Utah16.
