Niall Horan Reveals Genetic Struggle with Family Joint Issues

Niall Horan, the former One Direction star, recently opened up about his family’s history of joint issues and how it has affected him personally. He noted that his father underwent hip surgery 18 months ago and is now scheduled for another procedure. At just 30 years old, Horan acknowledges that these issues run in his family.

“My uncle had two knees done. Like, it’s a thing. I think I was just ruined from the day I was born,” he expressed. This candid admission highlights the genetic struggle with joint problems that has impacted multiple generations in his family.

Niall’s Music and Personal Life

Horan’s girlfriend, Amelia Woolley, has played a significant role in his music. She has been a “muse” for many tracks on his new album, titled *Dinner Party*. He revealed that Amelia was deeply emotional while listening to some of the more poignant songs, stating, “She did a lot of crying.”

In a move to acknowledge his fans, Horan is seeking to give credit to a fan who inspired his song “Flowers.” He explained that the concept arose from a comment on social media. “I need to find that person because I need to give them their writing credit,” he said.

A Reflection on Love and Life

Talking about his relationship with Amelia, which began in 2020, Horan expressed his happiness. “Having someone to rant with and listen to is huge. I’m glad I found it,” he said. He described her as “amazing,” appreciating her independence and the life they’ve built together.

The couple enjoys a laid-back lifestyle, often finding that their weekends slip away without any plans. “Friday’ll come, and I’ll be like, ‘Can’t wait for the weekend,’ and then Sunday night comes and we’ve done nothing,” Horan admitted. “We spent the whole weekend in the house.”
