AMBER Alert Ends: Missing Trois-Rivières Children Found Safe and Unharmed

Two young children, previously the subject of an AMBER Alert, were found safe in Saint-Paulin, about 60 kilometers from Trois-Rivières. The alert was issued on Sunday morning at 4:25 AM and was lifted by 7:55 AM on the same day.

The successful conclusion of this case was made possible through public cooperation. Authorities received tips that led investigators to the location of the missing children.

Sgt. Élizabeth Marquis-Guy, a spokesperson for Sûreté du Québec (SQ), confirmed the children’s safe recovery. “The public greatly assisted in locating them,” she stated.

The children were taken by their 29-year-old mother, who was driving a 2008 gray Acura RDX. For legal reasons, her identity is withheld to protect the children.
