Emergency responders handled a serious 15-vehicle crash on the M73 motorway in Scotland. The incident occurred shortly before 11:30 PM on a Sunday night, leading to significant disruptions and injuries. Five individuals, including two children, were hospitalized due to the collision.

The M73 motorway experienced closures between Junction 2 Baillieston Interchange and Junction 2A Gartcosh Interchange. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) dispatched three fire appliances along with a heavy rescue unit to manage the situation.

- Six ambulances and two special operations response teams (SORT) were deployed to the scene.
- Patients were transported to several hospitals:

- One patient was admitted to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
- Three additional patients received treatment at the site and were later released.

According to Amey SW Trunk Roads, the incident was classified as a “15 vehicle RTC,” prompting authorities to advise motorists to avoid the area. Recovery efforts continued into the early hours, and debris was cleared with the help of a sweeper. Traffic Scotland reported that the road was reopened shortly before 4 AM on Monday.
