Polish Firm Secures Contract for Trolleybus Transport from Switzerland to Ukraine

A Polish logistics firm has secured a significant contract for the transport of trolleybuses from Switzerland to Ukraine. This operation plays a crucial role in supporting public transport in Ukrainian cities, particularly in Zhytomyr.

The contract, valued at 559,400 Swiss francs (approximately 2.54 million PLN), was awarded to EN_PANAS TRANSPORT Sp. z o.o. on March 11, 2026. The company emerged as the successful bidder among nine proposals submitted in the competitive bidding process.
Details of the Transport Operation
The project involves the transportation of 13 used Hess Swisstrolley2 trolleybuses and one specialized vehicle from two locations in the Lucerne canton—Lucerne and Rothenburg—to Zhytomyr, Ukraine. This initiative is an essential part of the Swiss-Ukrainian Public Transport Partnership Phase IV.

- Vehicles will be transported by truck.
