ITV Alters Weekend Schedule: Britain’s Got Talent Skips Saturday Broadcast

Viewers hoping to catch the latest episode of Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) on Saturday will face a scheduling change on ITV. The alteration is due to the upcoming Six Nations rugby tournament, which will take precedence.
ITV’s Weekend Schedule Change
The coverage for the Six Nations begins at 7:20 PM on ITV1, with the live match between England and France kicking off at 8:10 PM. This timing coincides with the usual Saturday slot reserved for BGT, which began its new season in February.
Current Season Highlights
The ongoing season of BGT has seen notable moments. Notably, Stacey Solomon recently took over as a guest judge while Simon Cowell was absent for several episodes. Amanda Holden filled in as head judge during this time, although she expressed dissatisfaction with the role.
- Stacey Solomon joined Alesha Dixon and KSI as part of the judging panel.
- Simon Cowell returned and awarded the first Golden Buzzer of the season.
- Paul Nunnari, a para-athlete, impressed the judges with an aerial silk routine.
During his performance, Cowell remarked that he had changed his perspective on aerial silks, praising Nunnari’s humble demeanor and talent. KSI and Alesha also awarded their Golden Buzzers to young magician Rafferty Coope and the act Antigravity, respectively.
Upcoming ITV Reality Programming
In addition to changes in the BGT schedule, ITV has also confirmed the lineup for the upcoming season of I’m a Celebrity All Stars. Familiar faces returning include:
- Scarlett Moffatt
- Gemma Collins
- Sir Mo Farah
- Beverley Callard
This spinoff will be filmed in South Africa and is set to air in April.
As fans await the next episode of BGT, they will have to tune in later for more thrilling auditions and talent showcases.
