Air Canada Launches Daily Motorcoach Trips from Muskoka to Pearson

Air Canada has announced the expansion of its luxury motorcoach service in collaboration with The Landline Company. This service will now connect the Ontario communities of Muskoka, Niagara, and Sarnia directly to Toronto Pearson International Airport starting June 15, 2026. The initiative aims to enhance regional connectivity and provide a seamless travel experience for customers.
Enhanced Travel Options for Ontario Residents
The updated agreement also includes an increase in the frequency of existing motorcoach services for Kingston and Kitchener-Waterloo. This summer, Landline will operate a total of 26 daily departures, connecting six Ontario communities to Air Canada’s network at Toronto Pearson.
Benefits of the New Routes
- Convenient access to Air Canada’s global hub
- Seamless booking and itinerary protection
- Enhanced economic benefits for local communities
Ranbir Singh, Air Canada’s Director of Regional Airlines and Markets, expressed optimism about the success of Landline’s service, emphasizing how it simplifies the travel process. The motorcoaches provide luxury travel with features like spacious leather seating, free Wi-Fi, and power outlets. This not only benefits local residents but also supports tourism by making travel to Ontario’s attractions more accessible.
Seamless Connections and Premium Features
Customers will enjoy a streamlined check-in process at their local airports, allowing them to receive boarding passes and have their luggage tagged for their final destinations. Upon arrival at Pearson, they will follow a simple procedure to continue to their departure gates.
Exclusive Travel Advantages
- Same benefits as air-only itineraries
- Disruption protection in case of delays
- Aeroplan points earned for both ground and air travel
The Air Canada-branded motorcoaches are manufactured in Quebec and are fully accessible, catering to passengers with reduced mobility. Specific routes will also ensure convenient drop-off and pick-up at key locations. For example, the Niagara service extends to the Niagara Falls Marriott, situated near one of Canada’s most famous attractions.
Summer 2026 Schedule
The new motorcoach routes will be effective starting June 15, 2026. Customers from Muskoka, Niagara, or Sarnia with existing Air Canada bookings can easily integrate a Landline segment into their itinerary at no extra cost until April 30, 2026. There are also additional round trips scheduled for Kingston and Kitchener in the spring.
