Weather conditions across the country are expected to remain warm, with maximum temperatures nearing 18 degrees Celsius in some regions. This forecast covers the period from March 9 to March 23 and is based on insights from the National Meteorological Administration (ANM).
Temperature Trends Across Regions
- Banat: From March 9 to 11, temperatures will gradually rise from 15 to 18 degrees. By mid-month, temperatures will average around 18 degrees, slightly decreasing to 16 degrees toward March 23.
- Crişana: This region will experience higher than normal temperatures until mid-March, with maximums between 15 and 18 degrees. Minimum temperatures will range from 1 to 4 degrees post-March 11.
- Transylvania: Expected maximum temperatures will fall between 14 and 16 degrees, peaking from March 12 to 16. Negative minimums are predicted from March 10 to 16, averaging between -4 and -2 degrees.
- Maramureş: Expected maximums are between 15 and 18 degrees, with lows around -1 degree until March 12. Minimum temperatures are projected to rise to 2 degrees after March 13.
- Moldova: Maximum daily temperatures will generally remain between 14 and 16 degrees throughout the forecast period, with minimums around -1 degree from March 10 to 13.
- Dobrogea: Maximums will hover around 12 degrees. Minimum temperatures will vary minimally between 0 and 2 degrees from March 10 to 14, rising slightly afterward.
- Muntenia: Maximum daily temperatures are expected between 14 and 16 degrees. Minimums will initially be around -1 degree, rising to 2 degrees towards the end of the period.
- Oltenia: Maximum temperatures are forecasted between 13 and 16 degrees, with higher values noted between March 12 and 14. Minimums will be near 0 degrees initially before rising slightly.
- Munte: Mountainous regions will see average maximums of 4 to 7 degrees, peaking from March 11 to 13, with minimums ranging from -4 to -2 degrees.
Precipitation Outlook
Precipitation is expected to be weak and infrequent over the forecast period. However, after March 17, the likelihood of light precipitation will increase across various regions, particularly in Crişana, Maramureş, and Oltenia.
