As autumn sweeps through Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Dollywood’s Harvest Festival, presented by Humana, has transformed the park into a vibrant celebration of music and seasonal festivities. The festival runs through October 27, showcasing a rich lineup of performances, including East Tennessee’s own Emily Ann Roberts, who will perform from October 8 to 12.
Emily Ann Roberts: A Rising Star
Emily Ann Roberts gained recognition as a contestant on NBC’s The Voice during Season 9, where she impressed audiences as part of Blake Shelton’s team. This pivotal experience propelled her into the country music spotlight. In 2017, she released her first gospel album, Bigger Than Me, and followed it up with her full-length country album, Can’t Hide Country, which boasts over 23 million streams.
Connecting with Dollywood
Roberts, who hails from Knoxville, has fond childhood memories of Dollywood. She reminisces about the joy the park brought her. “Dollywood was one of the biggest highlights of my childhood,” she shared. “From the rides to the food to the shows, it fills my senses with the feeling of home in East Tennessee.”
One of her favorite experiences at the park is riding the classic attraction, Blazing Fury. She recalls riding it repeatedly during her visits, highlighting her deep connection to Dollywood.
