Israeli Navy Intercepts Flotilla Heading to Gaza

Protests have erupted across multiple countries in response to the recent interception of a flotilla headed to Gaza by the Israeli Navy. Demonstrations took place in Greece, Italy, Germany, Tunisia, and Turkey, highlighting widespread international dissent.

In Italy, spontaneous demonstrations emerged in several cities on Wednesday evening. The main trade union, CGIL, announced its support for a general strike scheduled for Friday. This action is a show of solidarity with Gaza and a reaction to what the union called the “abandonment” of Italian citizens by their government in international waters.
