60 km/h Gusts and Cold Weather Drop to -19°C Tuesday

On Tuesday, weather conditions across Quebec will feature significantly colder temperatures, despite sunshine in most areas. The southwest region, including Greater Montreal, will enjoy generally sunny skies, although clouds will linger in the Outaouais region.
Cold Weather and Strong Winds in Quebec
Residents can expect strong winds with gusts reaching 60 km/h. Temperatures will dip to -11°C in Montreal and as low as -19°C in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. While some regions in central Quebec may see light snow flurries, the overall trend will be for clearing skies accompanied by a sharp drop in temperature.

In the eastern part of the province, Environment Canada forecasts that some snow showers may occur with wind gusts of 50 km/h. A cold weather warning is currently in effect for approximately 20 sectors in western and northern Quebec, as well as the North Shore region.
