Studio City Hit-and-Run: Man in 60s Dies, Three Drivers Wanted

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public in connection with a devastating hit-and-run incident in Studio City. The incident occurred on December 23, around 5:40 PM.
Details of the Hit-and-Run Incident
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the tragedy began when a white cargo van was reported traveling eastbound on Ventura Boulevard. The van struck a man in his 60s who was sitting on the road at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Van Noord Avenue. Witnesses indicated the van continued its route heading east post-incident.
This victim, while lying down on the road, was subsequently hit by two additional vehicles. These vehicles included a white SUV and a sedan, both of which were also seen traveling eastbound on Ventura Boulevard.
Response and Investigation
First responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived promptly at the scene. Unfortunately, they pronounced the victim dead, but his identity has not been disclosed. Police are stressing the importance of responsible driving and urging motorists to stop and report collisions instead of fleeing the scene.

The LAPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the involved parties.
