The Grand Canyon University (GCU) Lopes are set to kick off their baseball season at the prestigious MLB Desert Invitational for the fourth consecutive year. The lineup for the tournament has been revealed, showcasing an intense set of matchups for the Lopes in 2026.
MLB Desert Invitational Opponents
The 2026 MLB Desert Invitational features a challenging schedule for GCU:
- Friday, February 13 at 6:00 PM: vs. Northeastern at Brazell Field, GCU Ballpark
- Saturday, February 14 at 1:00 PM: vs. Penn State at Salt River Fields, Scottsdale

Returning to Face Nebraska
