Matt Morsia, famously known as Legend from BBC’s Gladiators, is making waves on The Celebrity Apprentice. After overcoming a significant bicep injury, Morsia is vying for the attention of Lord Alan Sugar in this special Christmas edition of the popular show, aiming to raise funds for Children in Need.
Matt Morsia’s Journey to Recovery
The 39-year-old athlete and fitness influencer faced a life-changing challenge earlier this year when he suffered a severe bicep injury during filming. Morsia’s misjudgment of the injury initially left him in a state of denial. However, he soon realized the seriousness of the situation when he noticed his bicep had retracted away from his arm.

In addition to his television career, Matt Morsia has cultivated a successful fitness brand. He has garnered over 1.1 million followers on Instagram and operates his fitness enterprise and application, Morsia. Standing at six feet one inch (1.85 m), Morsia is known for his impressive athletic capabilities, including a triple jump exceeding 50 feet and a bicep measurement of 40 cm.
A Lifelong Dream
Becoming a Gladiator was a lifelong dream for Morsia, who grew up watching the original show. “From the age of nine or ten, I wanted to be a Gladiator,” he expressed. This ambition came to fruition when he joined the series in its inaugural season of revival.
In his personal life, Morsia is married to Sarah, who manages his fitness company. The couple shares two children, making family a central part of his life.
