Dallas Forecast: Record Heat Persists Ahead of Major Temperature Drop

Dallas is experiencing record temperatures that will persist for several more days before a significant drop hits North Texas. According to the latest forecasts, the upcoming weekend will see highs reaching into the mid-80s, considerably warmer than average.

Record Heat Persists in Dallas

This weekend’s temperatures will be 20 to 25 degrees above normal as residents prepare for a cold front expected to arrive on Sunday evening. This front will bring a mix of rain and thunderstorms, although severe weather is not anticipated.

Following the cold front, a stark temperature change is projected early next week. Monday will see temperatures dipping into the 30s, with afternoon highs struggling to reach the 40s. North Texas may experience freezing temperatures on Monday night, continuing into Tuesday.
