Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash Claims Life on Calgary’s Glenmore Trail

On December 16, a tragic incident occurred on Glenmore Trail in Calgary, claiming the life of a man in his 40s. The crash involved a 2011 Mitsubishi RVR and a Jeep Wrangler, leading to severe consequences.
Details of the Crash
According to Calgary police, the collision occurred around 9 p.m. The Mitsubishi RVR was traveling westbound on Glenmore Trail SE, approaching the Blackfoot Trail SE interchange. In a sudden turn of events, the vehicle struck the rear of a Jeep Wrangler.
After the impact, the Mitsubishi collided with a concrete median, rolled over, and hit a barrier a second time before coming to rest on its roof.
Casualties and Damage
The driver of the Mitsubishi, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. The Jeep, however, sustained only minor damage, and its driver remained uninjured.
